Fixed-term for 24 months

Panel Systems Ltd. have joined forces with Sheffield Hallam University on this KTP project to enable them to develop innovative composite panels with enhanced thermal and acoustic properties for the construction and automobile (caravan/truck) industries.

Panel Systems Ltd. (www.panelsystems.co.uk) based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire has over thirty years of experience of supplying insulated panel products into a diverse range of markets including building, caravan, education and leisure.  We have a very exciting opportunity for a graduate or post graduate to "fast track" their career by leading a high profile and strategically important project to a successful conclusion.

Job Requirements

You should be a graduate with a good honours degree in Materials Science/Architecture/Civil/Mechanical Engineering. Applicants with relevant industrial experience and/or a higher degree are welcome and would be suitably remunerated.

You will be based at the company site in Sheffield, working directly with the company Managing Director and Operations Manager, receiving additional mentoring support from expert University staff.

You should be confident, self-motivated and capable of working effectively on your own initiative as well as in a team and be able to interact at all levels with the company. Excellent planning and organising skills and the ability to prioritise work with conflicting deadlines are also essential for this role.
