About United Western Bank : United Western Bank was incorporated in 1936 and is one of the largest Indian Banks in Private Sector. The past of the Bank has seen a steady growth with prosperous present and promising future. The Head Office of the Bank is situated at Satara.
In the country United Western Bank has 230 branches spread over 47 districts in 9 states which is being controlled by five Zonal Offices at Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Jalgaon and Nagpur.
The Bank acquired the status of a Scheduled Bank in 1951. In 1956, it merged with Union Bank of Kolhapur, in 1961 with Satara Swadeshi Commercial Bank Limited. In 1969, the Bank acquired status of ‘B’ class Bank and in 1947, ‘A’ class.
