Age Limit: Candidates age should be above 21 years and below 30 years for General, 35 years for SC, SC (A), ST, MBC/ DC, BC, BCM and DW of all Castes. Cutoff date for determining age limit is 01-07-2014.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelors Degree in Science or Engineering with Agriculture/ Animal Husbandry/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Computer Applications/ Computer Science/ Engineering (All Engineering subjects including Agricultural Engineering)/ Environmental Science/ Forestry/ Geology/ Horticulture/ Marine Biology/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics/ Veterinary Science/ Wildlife Biology/ Zoology as one of the subject.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Examination, Walking Test, Physical Standards Verification and Personality Test.
Application Fee & Form: Candidates need to Pay Rs.60/- (Rs.50/- as Application Fee + Rs.10/- as Service Charge to Post Office) in the form of Cash and obtain the OMR application forms along with Information Brochure from any one of the designated Post Offices in Tamil Nadu/ Puduchery (as per the details of Post Offices provided in the Tamil Nadu Forest Department website www.forests.tn.nic.in/ Annexure-9 of the Information Brochure).
Examination Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs 262/- (Rs 250/- as Examination Fee + Rs 12/- as Service Charge to Post Office).
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format along with attested copies of relevant certificates addressed to Chief Post Master, Anna Road HO, Chennai 600002 from 02-01-2015 to 30-01-2015.
