The Kerala Public Service Commission is a body created by the Constitution of India to select applicants for civil service jobs in the Indian state of Kerala according to the merits of the applicants and the rules of reservation.The Head Office of the KPSC is located at Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram, the State Capital. It has three Regional Offices and fourteen District Offices.

Note:
Details regarding standards of vision should be clearly stated in the Certificate as given above and vague statement such as Vision `Normal', 'Average' etc will not be accepted. Specification for each eye should be stated separately. If the specification are not as indicated above, the officers issuing the Certificate should certify whether the candidate has got better standards of vision or worse standards of vision as the case may be, otherwise the Certificate will not be accepted.
i..Candidates shall undergo training for one year in any of the forest training schools.
ii.If appointed by Direct Recruitment, the candidate shall be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within a continuous service of 3 years.
iii.Candidates having 'A', 'B' & 'C' certificate of NCC will be given weightage marks at the rate of 2%, 3% and 5% respectively, vide G.O (Ms) No.112/2007/HEdn. Dated 21.08.2007
