We seek to appoint a Tutor to provide teaching and marking for the Charlie Waller Institute Postgraduate Certificate in Evidence-based Psychological Treatment (IAPT Pathway).

The role would involve:

Teaching workshops to those on the Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) Postgraduate Certificate CourseMarking students’ courseworkLiaison with students and their servicesTaking an overview of the PWP course planning ensuring it is in-line with national requirements at all times

The role with have limited day to day supervision and the responsible person is expected to make decisions, and identify issues and respond appropriately.

You will have:

Excellent Clinical Skills, particularly in cognitive behavioural Step 2 interventions for anxiety and depressionSuccessful completion of an accredited PWP Course, without any failures on any modulesAbility to mark coursework to a high and consistent standardIn-depth knowledge of Evidence-based psychological treatment principles for anxiety and depression, and experience of delivering the interventionsConfident working with all organisational levels and with clinicians from a range of backgrounds with a variety of experienceSensitivity to cultural issues and needs and awareness of University regulations/best practice
