The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Durham University invites applications for a postdoctoral position, to begin in October 2014 for a 12 month period. The position is funded by an EPSRC grant entitled 'Theory of Badly approximable sets'. Candidates with research interests in Diophantine approximation or related topics of analytical number theory/dynamic systems are encouraged to apply. The researcher will work independently on projects within the general area of research supported by the grant in collaboration with Dr Dzmitry Badziahin.
