UDOL is seeking to recruit a full-time Senior Online Tutor to lead the development and delivery of distinct areas of our Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy Programmes. We are looking for an enthusiastic subject expert with a passion for online delivery. The individual will be required:
To provide strong effective leadership, management and communication to a remote team of online tutors working together in managing the programme(s) effectively.To show a commitment to teaching and delivering the subject matter in an exciting, engaging and innovative way with the student experience always as the central focus.To have overall responsibility for the teaching and assessment for a portfolio of online programme(s).To identify new programme/module opportunities and/or enhancements to existing programmes and commission such work in liaison with the Academic Manager to whom they report.To motivate and support online learners in producing positive outcomes through innovative learning and teaching methods.To promote a stimulating ‘community of practice’ for online learners and tutors.An in depth academic knowledge and understanding of counselling and counselling supervision is required and an in depth academic knowledge and understanding of psychology is also essential.
This post will be based at our Kedleston Road site in Derby.
