Last Date: 11-01-13 The BGHS awards six-month start-up scholarships to international MA graduates who would like to pursue a doctoral degree in history, sociology, anthropology, or political science. Recipients receive the opportunity to prepare a convincing proposal for a dissertation project. Successful candidates may subsequently apply for a doctoral scholarship, for employment or for a doctoral degree programme at the BGHS or elsewhere. Scholarship Value: The grant consists of a stipend of 1,200 euro per month.This amount will be supplemented by an allowance for children if applicable.Upon application, travel costs can also be covered by the Graduate School. Last Date : 09-12-12 The Foreign Press Association has established a scholarship program aimed at encouraging foreign students enrolled in graduate programs in this country to pursue a career reporting on international affairs. This year a minimum of three scholarships will be awarded, one for $10,000, one for $7,500 and the other for $5,000. The money is to be used for further study in print, broadcast or photojournalism. University of Oxford : Clarendon Scholarships

Last Date : 18-01-13 Clarendon Scholarships are awarded to academically excellent students with the best proven and future potential. The Scholarships cover tuition and college fees in full and a generous grant for living expenses, and are open to students starting a new course at Oxford. They are highly competitive, with less than 3% of graduate offer holders being also offered the scholarship. In 2012-13, there will be over three hundred Clarendon scholars at Oxford representing more than fifty different countries. Whilst there are no quotas by course type, the majority of Clarendon scholars are working towards a DPhil (PhD).
