Last Date : 01-10-12 The Department of Physics is looking to appoint a post-doctoral associate fellow for 36 months to work on simulations of kinetics of growth of self-assembled monolayers of organic molecules on crystal surfaces. Scholarship Value : The appointment will be made at Grade 6, currently £31,020 – £33,884 per annum, plus £2,323 per annum London Allowance. Tenure : 36 months Eligibility : International applications will be considered for this position.Applicants should have a PhD in solid-state physics or related areas, with significant experience in DFT modeling of surface processes, and in MD simulations based (preferably) on both ab initio and classical Hamiltonians.
