Grade 7 (£29,541 - £36,298) Postdoctoral research appointment in Dr. Greg Findlay’s laboratory to investigate the role of protein phosphorylation in regulating embryonic stem (ES) cells. Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position to work with Dr. Greg Findlay to investigate novel signalling pathways in ES cells. Using targeted phosphoproteomic profiling, we have identified a number of phosphorylation sites that are modified upon ES cell differentiation. This project aims to elucidate the functional role of these phosphorylation sites in ES cells, and identify the biochemical mechanisms by which they are regulated.
