Salary: Grade 7, £32,267 - £36,298 per annum

The RCUK Centre for Copyright & New Business Models in the Creative Economy (CREATe – www.create.ac.uk) is established with initial funding of £5m from the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC), the Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). This interdisciplinary research hub is engaging with key research challenges in the creative economy relating to copyright and digital transformations. Based at the University of Glasgow, CREATe draws upon a consortium of research expertise from 7 participating HEIs across the UK (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Goldsmiths, Nottingham, St Andrews, Strathclyde and UEA).

This post is an eighteen months research post with a focus on copyright law, history & policy within CREATe at the University of Glasgow’s School of Law (in the College of Social Sciences). The candidate is expected to develop a research agenda on copyright law and its history, with a strong interdisciplinary and policy focus. CREATe has an ambitious development agenda, and the successful candidate will have every opportunity to benefit from further funding and new academic programmes and positions.
