Based at the Wolfson Wohl Translational Cancer Research Centre (TCRC) you will take a leading role in developing both individual and collaborative research projects at international standards in the area of genomic informatics of cancer.
With significant experience of mutational signatures in cancer genomes and in integrating genome/epigenome/transcriptome data you will develop and lead research aimed at characterising the genomic, transcriptomic and epigenomic landscape of pancreatic cancer and extending this knowledge into a personalised model of cancer care.
Possessing a good first degree and PhD, or equivalent research profile, in a research field related to cancer research as well as in-depth knowledge of the principles and practice of bioinformatics you will lead, develop and maintain a portfolio of internationally recognised research projects in the area of genome informatics and disseminate this knowledge through high impact publications, participation in international collaboration and conferences.
This position has funding for up to 24 months in the first instance.
