NavodayaVidyalayaSamiti (NVS), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India, invites ON-LINE applications through the link available on NVS Website, from eligible Indian nationals for filling up of vacancies for the posts of Assistant Commissioner(Admn.) and Principals from Gen./OBC/SC/ST/PH Categories on DIRECT RECRUITMENT BASIS.

PRINCIPALS
No. of Posts – 29
PAY SCALE: Rs. 15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.7600
Age : Between 35 to 45 years.
1. Master’s Degree from the recognized University with at least 50% marks.
2.B.Ed. or equivalent teaching degree.
3.Persons working in any of the Govt. / Semi-Govt./ Govt. recognized / CBSE affiliated Sr. Secondary (10+2) schools / InterCollege.
(a) Holding analogous post, or
(b) Vice-Principal in the scale of Rs.7500-12000 (pre-revised) / Rs.15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs.5400 (revised) with 10years experience / service as PGT/Lecturer in the scale of Rs.6500-10,500 / 7500-12,000 (pre-revised) or
(c ) A minimum of 12 years experience / service as PGT/Master / Lecturer in the scale of Rs.6500-10,500 (pre-revised)
/Rs.9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs.4800 (revised) or equivalent in a senior secondary school.
At least three years experience as House Master of a fully residential school.
Experience of working in a fully residential / CBSE affiliated / Govt. recognized school.
Proficiency in English and Hindi / concerned Regional language.
ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER (ADMINISTRATION) – One Post (OBC)
PAY SCALE: Rs. 15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.6600
1.Graduate from a recognized University.
2.Holding analogous post on regular basis OR with 08 years service in the scale of Rs.6500-10500 (pre-revised),Rs.9300-34800 withgrade pay Rs.4600 (revised)
3.Possessing Experience of handling Administration / Financial matters in the responsible capacity in Central / State Govt. /Autonomous / Statutory Organization.
Age Limit :Upto 45 years.
The Written Examination for the recruitment to the above posts will be held at Delhi on August 05, 2012.
