Cultural Contexts Research Fellow (Temporary)

The Role
We are looking for a suitably experienced recent PhD graduate to manage a high profile cultural engagement project in liaison with Bloomsbury Festival team and the School’s researchers.

Requirements
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in public engagement activities, events organisation and stakeholder management. Research grants applications and arts organisation experience would be desirable. An awareness of the UK higher education system would be an advantage. An excellent communicator at all levels, you will have the ability to self-start and work as part of a team. Engaged and committed, you will have the ability to grasp new concepts speedily and to respond to new ideas. Interest in cutting edge arts and humanities research and an interest in communicating it to others, including non-specialists, is essential.

About The Department
The School of Advanced Study brings together the specialised scholarship and resources of ten prestigious research institutes to offer postgraduate study and research opportunities across a wide range of subjects in the humanities and social sciences. The School is comprised of the Institutes of Advanced Legal Studies, Classical Studies, Commonwealth Studies, English Studies, Germanic & Romance Studies Historical Research, Musical Research, Philosophy, the Study of the Americas, and the Warburg Institute.
