Salary: £36,300 - £38,500 per annum, dependent on qualifications, skills and experience

We are looking for a skilled and experienced ITS Systems Analyst to maintain and support Regent’s College’s virtualised servers, desktop and application environment. This full time post will take ownership of all IT issues and services related to virtualisation.
Reporting into the ITS Network, Infrastructure, Applications & Development Manager, this role will play a vital role in ensuring our virtualised environment are fit for purpose, by working with existing team members and other staff in improving the performance and effectiveness of our key corporate systems.
This role includes managing projects both within the ITS team and external suppliers. The post holder will also be expected to contribute fully to the strategic planning of the ITS Department and be the focus for expertise in the area of virtualisation.
YOU will have:
Significant specialist knowledge of VMware ESXi 4/5 vSphere experience, design and in-depth operation experience in a large scale environment.Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting of virtual desktop environments (preferably Citrix VDI- –in-a-box) including setup, maintenance and management of virtualized desktops and application virtualization.Experience managing SAN - Netapp and NexsanExtensive experience in leading a large scale deployment project preferably using Prince2 methodologyThe ability to research, plan, coordinate, and implement upgrades in accordance with ITIL best practicesThe ability to communicate effectively and to engage and interact with all levels of the business.To apply, a letter of application detailing how you meet the requirements of the person specification which can be viewed online via our website below, together with your CV should be sent to recruitment@regents.ac.uk.
