Educational Qualifications
Candidates should be 10+2 with 60% marks aggregate in total and minimum 60% in each subject of Maths and Physics from an education board recognised by Central/State Government.
Age Limitation
Candidates born between 01- Aug-1991 to 31-Jul-1995. Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC aspirants.
Selection Procedure:
Short listed candidate’s basis on percentage of marks for a particular examination centre, number of applications received and the handling capacity of a particular centre, written test, interview and Medical Examination (Preliminary).
How to Apply
Candidates must apply online from 14th Jan 2013 to 23rd Jan 2013 through the official web site www.joincoastguard.org. While filling online candidates have to enter name of the candidate, father/mother's name and date of birth should be as given in the 10th class certificate. Indicate exact percentage of 12th upto two decimals and this is not to be rounded off. Aspirants provide email ID and Mobile number of the candidate are compulsory.
