Dates of Examination: On Saturdays and Sundays between 1st February 2014 and 2nd March 2014. The exact schedule will be giver on GATE 2014 Official website.

Admission to Post Graduate Courses (Master’s and Doctoral with MHRD and other Government Scholarships / Assistant ships in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science is open to those who qualify in GATE. GATE 2014 score will be valid for a period of TWO YEARS ONLY from the date of announcement of results.

Application Fee Candidates have to apply onlineRs 1500 for General/OBC male candidates
Rs 750 for women candidates
Rs 1500 for General/OBC other candidates
Rs 750 for the SC/ST/PWD category candidates.
The application fee can be paid either online or through a bank challan via SBI or Syndicate Bank. The application fee is non-refundable.

Application Deadlines:Commencement of Online Application: 2nd Sept, 2013 (Monday)
Last date for submission of Application (Website Closure): 3rd Oct, 2013 (Thursday)
Receipt of hard copy of application with supporting documents at respective GATE officers: 10th Oct, 2013 (Thursday)

New in GATE 20141) All the 21 papers will be conducted in online mode (Computer Based) 2) Exam will be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays from February 1 to March 2,2014
