COMMON WRITTEN EXAMINATION [CWE] FOR
RECRUITMENT OF PROBATIONARY OFFICERS/ MANAGEMENT TRAINEES
IN PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS
The next Common Written Examination (CWE PO/MT-III) as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in the Participating Organisations listed below will be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in October 2013.
Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Participating Organisations listed at (A) as a Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee or in a similar post in that cadre, is required to register for the Common Written Examination (CWE PO/MT-III). Candidates who appear and are shortlisted in the examination, will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by IBPS. Depending on the available vacancies in Participating organisations, candidates shortlisted will be allotted to one of the Participating Organisations keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc.
This system of Common Written Examination, interview and allotment for recruitment of Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in Participating Organisations has the approval of the appropriate authorities. IBPS, an autonomous body, has received a mandate from the organisations mentioned at below, to conduct the recruitment process as mentioned above, once a year. Prospective candidates will have to apply to IBPS after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the process of examination, interview and allotment, eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee/ intimation charges, pattern of examination, issuance of call letters etc. and ensure that they fulfil the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting Common Written Examination (CWE PO/MT-III) for the recruitment of Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee vacancies in Public Sector Banks which will be conducted online. Aspirants can apply online from 22-07-2013 to 12-08-2013.
Participating Banks:
Any other bank or financial institution
Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 20 years to 28 years as on 01-07-2013. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess Degree with 60% marks
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Common Written Exam and Common Interview. Candidates who are Shortlisted in the Examination (CWE) will be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by Participating Organizations and coordinated by IBPS.
Application Fee: Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates. and Rs.600/- for all others through online or offline mode.
Online Mode: After submission of online application form, candidates can make payment through payment gateway using Internet Banking/ Master/ Visa Debit or Credit Cards from 22-07-2013 to 12-08-2013. After online payment, take print of system generated e-receipt for future use.
Offline Mode: Candidates can deposit the fee (offline) by using system generated fee payment challan at CBS branches of any of 7 Public Sector Banks mentioned in the notification from 24-07-2013 to 17-08-2013. Fee payment Challan can be downloaded after submission of online application form.
