Name of the Post:
1. Store Keeper (Group “C”): 01 post
2. Fireman (Group “C”): 01 post
3. Durwan (Group “C”): 05 posts
Age Limit: Candidates’ age limit is 18-27 years as on the last date of receipt of application. Relaxable up to 40 years in case of Government Servants for S.No.1 & 2 posts, age should be between 20 to 27 years as on last date of receipt of application (for departmental candidates up to 40 years, for SC candidates 45 years & for OBC candidates 43 years for S.No.3 post.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess 10+2 pass from a recognized board or University with DOEACC for S.No.1 post, 10th pass with must have completed basic course on elementary Fire Fighting from a Govt. recognized Institute for S.No.2 post, Matriculation with must be physically fit for the duties of Duran as per specified standard indicated in notification for S.No.3 post.
Examination Fee: Candidates must send examination fees in the form of Bank draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of General Manager, Ordnance Cable Factory, Chandigarh for Rs. 50/-. SC/ ST/ Ex- Serviceman are exempted from the fee.
Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on written test and skill test.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may submit the application in prescribed format along with Copies of certificates duly attested by a Gazetted officer in support of educational certificates, caste and date of birth, one passport size photograph pasted in original application (duly self attested in the front side) and 2 copies of the same photographs (duly self attested in the front side) are enclosed with application & DD should be addressed to the General Manager, Ordnance Cable Factory, Industrial Area Phase – I, Chandigarh, Pin – 160 002 and should reach within 21 days from the date of advertisement in the Employment News. Candidates should super scribe “the name of the post applied for” on the top of the envelope in bold letters.
