At the Department of Psychology and Behavioural Science, Aarhus University, a position as Associate Professor in Autobiographical Memory Research is open from 1 March 2014 or soon after.

The Associate Professorship is a permanent position including research and teaching. The Associate Professor will be affiliated with the Center on Autobiographical Memory Research at the Department of Psychology (www.conamore.au.dk/en/). The Associate Professor is expected to participate in the daily activities of the department, such as lectures, seminars, workshops, etc., as well as taking on supervision of students. In addition, the person in question is to take part in the organizational and administrative tasks of the department.

The successful candidate is expected to attend all the main activities at the department, including examination and administration. It is required that non-Danish speakers within a short period (2 years as a maximum) acquire the necessary knowledge of Danish.

Qualification requirements
Applicants must possess research qualifications and teaching skills corresponding to those obtained after successful completion of a period of employment as an assistant professor, but equivalent academic qualifications may also be accepted.

Permanent employment as an associate professor at Business and Social Sciences requires completion of the supervision course provided by the Centre for Learning and Education at Business and Social Sciences. In case the candidate has not completed the course before commencement of employment, continued employment will be conditional on prompt completion of the supervision course (Center for Undervisning og Læring).

Formalities
The School of Business and Social Sciences refers to the Ministerial Order on the Appointment of Academic Staff at Danish Universities (the Appointment Order) under the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.

Appointment shall be in accordance with the collective labour agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. AC
