Graphic Design Tutor

Approximately 180 hours for the academic year 2013-14
(Usually Monday and/or Tuesday)

£35.29 per teaching hour

A tutor is required to teach on our BA (Hons) Graphic Design award. A strong professional understanding and experience of graphic design fundamentals combined with an ability to enthuse and engage students with their subject is essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate particular expertise in brand, brand extension and packaging design.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of the teaching and learning requirements within a Higher Education environment together with an understanding and experience of relevant professional and industry practices. The posts involve preparation for and delivery of tutorials, workshops, lectures, critiques and seminars across the curriculum. Essential course components comprise studio practice, contextual studies, and business and professional skills.
