KMDA Recruitment 2013 – 147 Asst Engineer, Tech Asst Posts: Municipal Service Commission has advertised notification for recruitment of Asst Engineer, Planner & Other Posts under the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA). Eligible candidates can send their applications on or before 12-12-2013 by 04.00 PM. Other details like age limit, qualification, selection process, how to apply are given below…

Total No of Posts: 147
Name of the Posts:
1. Assistant Engineer (Civil): 20 Posts
2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 03 Posts
3. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 02 Posts
4. Assistant Planner: 09 Posts
5. Technical Assistant (Civil): 104 Posts
6. Technical Assistant (Electrical): 05 Posts
7. Technical Assistant (Mechanical): 04 Posts


Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18 to 32 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess PG Degree/ Diploma for S.No.4 Post, Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline for S.No.1 to 4 Posts, Diploma in relevant discipline for remaining Posts with relevant experience.


Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the Preliminary Test, Written Test, Skill Test and interview.


Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs. 150/- and processing charge of Rs. 50/- through all branches of United Bank of India and deposited to A/C No. 0088050006798 of UBI Entally Branch vide challan specially designed and available at Commission’s website www.mscwb.org. No application fee, only processing charge shall be paid by the candidates belonging to S.C., S.T. and P.H. category.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed format along with Self-attested photocopies of the documents/ certificates in support of age, caste, qualification and experience (if any) etc to Office of Municipal Service Commission, 149, A.J.C. Bose Road, Kolkata – 700 014 on or before 12-12-2013 by 04.00 PM.


Last Date for Submission of Application: 12-12-2013 by 04.00 PM.
