Salary Range £45,040 - £50,190 per annum
Applications are invited for the post of Non Clinical Lecturer in Cell Biology/Physiology within the Section of Cell Biology of the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism based at the College’s South Kensington campus.
You will perform research into the molecular mechanisms by which pancreatic b- and other islet cells sense glucose, and how these mechanisms may become defective in type 2 diabetes or obesity.
You will have a PhD in Biochemistry, Cell Biology or Physiology, extensive research experience and high technical knowledge in an already relevant to cell biology /physiology and/or metabolism. You will have a significant publication record, have experience of presenting research results at national and international levels and supervising experience of research staff and students.
The post is full-time and will be funded for three years and is based at our South Kensington Campus.
