The appointment will be on UCL Grade 0. The salary range will be Grade 7 £36,064 - £39,132 per annum; Grade 8 £40,216 - £47,441 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The UCL Philosophy Department wishes to appoint a Lecturer to start 1st September 2014 in the areas of either ancient philosophy, early modern philosophy or post-Kantian philosophy. The successful applicant will be required to give four separate classes over the academic year (two each term), at both undergraduate and graduate level, and to supervise graduate students, as well as taking on the usual administrative and examining roles in the department.
The successful candidate should have, or be about to get, a PhD in philosophy, and have a specialization in ancient philosophy, early modern philosophy or post-Kantian philosophy.
