Roskilde University's Department of Psychology and Educational Research (PAES) is advertising a professorship (MSO) in Social Psychology of Everyday Life related to the department's strategy and professional development plan. The post is a fixed 5-year full-time position with the possibility of a 3-year prolongation.
The professorship is advertised in order to further develop and strengthen the department's research and training activities in the field of Social Psychology of Everyday Life. Applicants are expected to have specialised academically at an international level in a partial area of the advertisment’s overall profile.
The professor must be able to teach students in the bachelor, candidate, master and ph.d. programmes in both Danish and English. The position involves collaboration with external partners regarding research and training.
It is expected that applicants have a background in research into Social Psychology of Everyday Life.
Appointment to the position of professor requires a broad theoretical anchoring and research work within the field – and documented scientific production at an international level, and qualifications and competence from academic management tasks.
Applicants must also be able to contribute actively to the continued development of the department's teaching and research environment - including the provision of external research funding and development of relationships with partners. Particular emphasis will also be placed on all-round teaching experience.
The position will be filled taking into account the overall profile of the department, particularly the requirements of the research areas for theoretical and methodological development.
The appointment will be as a professor (MSO) in accordance with the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
