Salary Range: £28,770 - £31,880 per annum
Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant in the Section of Investigative Medicine based at the Hammersmith Campus of Imperial College London.
The post is to investigate the use of peptide therapeutics for the treatment of diabetes and obesity. The research programme in obesity is led by Professor Sir Stephen Bloom. The successful candidate will join the established drug discovery research team within the department. This post is to support the Head of Section and project manager with screening of novel compounds and investigating their mechanism of action.
You must have a strong technical background, experience with radioimmunoassay, immunohistochemistry, ELISA and cell culture is essential. You will have a qualification in a relevant biological discipline and laboratory based experience.
