Research Associate (CeRES)

Salary (£) 30424 per annum

Durham University is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to work with Professor David Wall on an academic research project in the field of cybersecurity (Changing Cyber-Threat Landscape and Public Confidence in the Criminal Justice System) The contract will last for 24 months.

The successful candidate will be based on the Durham City site in Old Elvet and will be a member of the Board of Studies of the School of Applied Social Sciences (SASS), a leading inter-disciplinary centre for social research that had 90 per cent of its research being ranked as world leading or internationally significant in the last Research Assessment Exercise.

Applications are particularly welcome from women and black and minority ethnic candidates, who are under-represented in academic posts in the University.
