You will work on a Cancer Research UK funded project examining the impact of the impact of inhibiting the function and expression of the monocarboxylate transporter, MCT4, on tumour growth and response to therapy.

You should have a PhD in cancer biology, pharmacology or related research area. Previous experience of working in the area of tumour metabolism, working with experimental tumour models and assessing responses to therapy will be beneficial. Ideally you will hold a personal animal license issued by the Home Office.

Subject to confirmation of renewal of funding from Cancer Research UK, it is anticipated that this post may be extended for a further 6 months.
