The opportunity has arisen to join us as Senior Lecturer in Banking and Finance.  Sunderland is a top place to study accounting and finance, with the University being recognised by The Guardian University Guide 2012 as having the no.1 business school in the North East. 85% of business graduates from Sunderland enter employment or further study within 6 months of graduating, based on figures from the Destination of Higher Education Leavers Survey 2010.

The successful candidate will undertake teaching subject development, assessment, research, student support and related administration for a range of the Faculty’s Finance and Enterprise programmes covering undergraduate, postgraduate and off campus programmes.

You will have an honours degree in related discipline and an established research profile, or demonstrate the potential to develop this. A PhD would be advantageous. You will have previous experience of programme leadership within an HE institution and the ability to work with a diverse range of learners covering undergraduate, postgraduate, international and corporate learners.
