Names of the Post: Resource Teacher (Special Education in different fields)
I. Name of the Fields:
1. Mentally Retardation: 02 post
2. Hearing Impairment: 01 post
3. Learning Disabilities: 01 post
4. Visual Impairment: 02 posts
II. Steno Typist: 01 post
Age Limit: Candidate upper age limit is 30 years as on 29-11-2013 for Resource Teacher & 18 to 25 years for Steno Typist. Age Relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed graduation examination in any stream with at least 50% marks & Diploma in Special Education/D.Ed Special Education with specialization in relevant disability (2 years) as recognized by RCI for Resource Teacher, Bachelor’s Degree and proficiency in operation of computer (word processing and spread sheets) and a speed of 80 w.p.m in Stenography (English) and speed of 20 w.p.m in transcripting the same for Steno Typist.
Application Fee: Candidates need to pay bank draft of Rs.300/- for General & OBC category (Rs.150/- for SC category) for Resource Teacher, Rs.300/- for Steno Typist drawn in favor of State Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Society, U.T., Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their Essential Qualification, Additional Qualification.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format as given in the notification and fill it with all given mandatory details, affix self attested passport size photograph on it, along with self attested photocopies of certificates, bank draft should be sent to the office of The State Project Director-Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Society, UT, Establishment Branch, 3rd Floor, Additional Deluxe Building, Sector-9D, Chandigarh on or before 29-11-2013.
