Vets have an important role to play in research related to the health of people and animals. In recognition of this, the Institute of Infection and Global Health is pleased to announce the launch of the IGH Veterinary Academic Clinical Fellowships scheme
Veterinary Academic Clinical Fellowships are designed to support early stage career veterinary surgeons who are interested in pursuing an academic career in the Institute of Infection and Global Health. These might be undergraduates in their clinical years, graduates in practice, or graduates working in industry or academia. The Vet ACFs provide the opportunity for talented vets to spend up to 12 months working within one of our established research groups in the Institute with the aim of developing an application for external Fellowship funding (e.g. Wellcome Trust/ MRC/ BBSRC); typically this will be for a PhD Fellowship.
