Clinical Research Associate

Salary; £28,076 – £41,564

You will be a clinician with a commitment to gastroenterology and an interest in either hepatology or biliary disease and will work on stratified medicine projects and associated clinical trials in the field of primary biliary cirrhosis and autoimmune hepatitis. You will be training for a CCT in gastroenterology and will have an interest in carrying out stratified medicine projects and clinical trials with a significant clinical component.

The nature of the project means that good inter-personal, organisational and record-keeping skills are of importance. The post is based at the Newcastle University Institute of Cellular Medicine and the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust but involves collaboration with other UK and international centres. You must possess full GMC registration with a licence to practice, as well as relevant hepatology experience

The position is fixed term for three years.
