Oxford Outcomes is an international company specialising in health outcomes research with a focus on Health Economics and Patient-Reported Outcomes. We have offices in Oxford (UK), Bethesda and New Jersey (USA), and Vancouver and Toronto (Canada). We undertake consultancy projects for a range of international clients primarily in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
We are currently seeking a graduate to join our specialist systematic review team within the Oxford health economics department. Our systematic review team identify, assemble and interpret information to understand the value of new health technologies. This information is used by our clients to inform real world health care decisions. Our research is frequently used to support decision making at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) in the UK.
The systematic review team at Oxford Outcomes are respected for the quality of their work which covers clinical, cost and quality of life data. Our systematic review team are pivotal in providing stand-alone data to support health technology appraisals and in providing data to inform the department’s analytical work. The graduate systematic reviewer would be expected to use robust methods to identify relevant literature, extract appropriate data and summarise and critically appraise this information. The outputs of this research may be stand-alone reports for clients or databases that are used to inform meta-analyses and cost-effectiveness analyses conducted by the health economics team.
Oxford Outcomes are committed to supporting the growth and development of the systematic review team. The graduate recruited for this role will receive external training as well as on the job training from our senior scientists.
Health technology appraisal is a fast growing sector, with systematic reviewers in demand across consulting, academia and industry.
Candidates will possess an undergraduate degree (2.1 or above) in any health-related, scientific or quantitative discipline or information science.

The salary is competitive and negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. The package on offer to the successful candidate includes the option of private health care, an attractive pension plan and 23 days annual leave initially rising to a maximum of 27 days. The role will be UK-based in our Oxford office.
