The Kavli Institute for Cosmology, University of Cambridge, (West Cambridge) is offering one senior research fellowship. The Kavli Institute Fellowship will be for five years, and is expected to become available from October 2014. Applicants must have a PhD in Astronomy or a related field, have at least three years postdoctoral experience by the start date of the fellowship and a proven track record of independent research relevant to the scientific theme of the Kavli Institute 'The Universe at High Redshift' (see www.ast.cam.ac.uk/kavli/). The fellowship is targeted at researchers (observers, instrumentalists or theorists) who have the potential to become leaders in their fields.
Salary will be on the same scale as University Lecturers, within the range £37,382 - £47,314 pa. depending on experience plus superannuation benefit. A research allowance of £8,000 pa will be provided.
