We’ll look to you to participate in the development, planning and administration of curricula and teach undergraduate and postgraduate students. You’ll also contribute to the research of the Centre for Earth and Environmental Sciences Research, an interdisciplinary group comprised of staff from the Schools of Geography, Geology and the Environment, Life Sciences, Computing, and Engineering.
The Person
To succeed, you will need to be an enthusiastic, early career researcher in applied geoscience – hydrogeology, hydrocarbon geology, sedimentology, ore geology. With or working towards a PhD or equivalent, you will bring core skills in geology or geography together with relevant teaching and research experience gained during the course of your postgraduate study. You’ll also have a teaching qualification, such as PGCHE or UKPSF 2. Skilled in collaborating and managing work to deadlines, you will also bring a strengthening publication record in peer-reviewed journals. Your ability to motivate a diverse range of students will make you stand out.
