Lecturer in the Department of Crop Production 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

A Master’s Degree in Crop Breeding. A PhD Degree in Crop Breeding would be an added advantage.Should have experience in teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate level. 

DUTIES:

To teach Crop Breeding, Botany and Biometrics to both undergraduate and post-graduate students.To supervise Research Projects for undergraduate students.To supervise Thesis/dissertation for. post-graduate students.To conduct research in Crop Breeding.To perform community service in Crop Breeding and related areas.

LOCAL CANDIDATES

Permanent and Pensionable service after successful completion of two years on probation; Recruitment and Retention Allowance, Housing Allowance and a Medical Aid.

EXPATRIATE CANDIDATES

A two-year contract which will attract Gratuity, recruitment Allowance a Medical Aid contribution and relocation expenses.
