Bradford Centre for International Development (BCID) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective lecturer to support our expanding on-site, collaborative and distance postgraduate teaching programmes, as well as contributing to our outstanding record in knowledge transfer, executive education and research activities. BCID is a well-established centre of development studies with considerable specialisation in project planning, appraisal and management. The Centre has extensive track record of working with various international organisations and development banks. Our postgraduate student body is diverse and international.
The post holder will be required to teach project management on the postgraduate programmes on campus and take a role in shaping these subjects in our KT activities, including our collaborative programme with Mzumbe University. Candidates should hold a PhD in projects, management or a related subject or have equivalent professional experience. They should be research active with the potential to make a major contribution to the research of the Division. Experience with international organisations or knowledge transfer/executive education is desirable.
