Type of Recruitment: Under Scout & Guide Quota.
Grade: PB-01(Rs.5200-20200) GP Rs. 1800
Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18-33 years as on 01-07-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should passed Class 10th and should be a President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge or a Pre- Himalayan Wood Badge Holder trained Scout Leader/ Advanced Trained Guide/ Leader/ Captain.
Examination Fee: Candidates belongs to General & OBC category have to pay the examination fee of Rs.40/- and SC/ST candidates only Rs.10/- by Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft/ Demand Draft only, in favour of District Commissioner Scouts, Firozpur payable at Firozpur. IPO/ DD/ Bank Draft obtained earlier than the date of issue and later than closing date of the Employment notice will not be accepted.
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with two passport size photograph, photostat copies of the age, educational qualification and caste etc. certificates duly attested by the Gazetted Officer, should reach to by any postal mode to Assistant Personnel Officer , Northern Railway DRM Office, Firozpur (Punjab) on or before 31-12-2013.

Name of the Post: Group “C” (Scout & Guide)
Age Limit: Candidates age must be 18 to 30 years for UR, 18 to 33 years for OBC, 18 to 36 years for SC/ ST.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. Minimum percentage of 50% in aggregate is not applicable to SC/ ST candidates and to those candidates who possess qualification higher than matriculation such as Intermediate/ Graduation/ Post Graduation, President’s Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge Holder or a Pre-HWB trained Scout Leader/ Advanced Trained Guide/ Leader/ Captain.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test.
Examination Fee: Candidates should pay Examination fee of Rs.100/- for each examination , is payable only through Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of “Asst Personnel Officer/ RRC, New Delhi. For SC/ ST/ PWD, Women candidates, Minority Candidates belonging or backward classes are exempted for payment of fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format with all the copies of Certificates with regards to age, educational qualifications, other qualifications, caste certificate and other certificates are to be enclosed along with the application form. Two recent passport size photographs with their names written at the back should be clipped along with the application form. The envelope containing the application must be super scribed “Application for Recruitment against Scout-Guide Quota for 2013-2014” for the post of Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- may sent through ordinary post only on or before 31-01-2014 and for remote areas 15-02-2014.
