The Department of Engineering and Design at London South Bank University offers courses at undergraduate and post graduate levels in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Telecommunications, Design and Computer Engineering.  All BEng courses are fully accredited by the appropriate institution as fulfilling the academic requirement for Charted Engineer (CEng) status. The Department also provides the teaching of mathematics to all engineering courses within the Faculty of Engineering, Science and the Built Environment. The Department seeks to appoint a Principal Lecturer to lead the teaching of mathematics to the entire engineering provision within the Faculty Engineering Science and the Built Environment.. 

Applicants need to have leadership qualities and hold good honours degree in Mathematics and a PhD with a proven experience in the teaching of mathematics to engineering students. Evidence in innovative approach to the teaching of Mathematics is essential. This is a senior appointment and the successful applicant is likely to be experienced individual holding a position of responsibility in a HE institution.
