You will work with a group led by Dr Fiona Rowe, on a full-time 3-year project. You will be responsible for selecting and recruiting stroke survivors into the study, undertaking full visual assessments and managing participants longitudinally. You will work across a number of local geographically separate stroke units using validated orthoptic and vision measures and link with the University of Liverpool. You will be required to contribute to systematic literature reviews and evaluation of patient-reported outcome measures for visual impairment in a stroke population.
You will also be expected to manage and analyse data and make written and verbal presentations of findings to colleagues and the project management committee and participate in the dissemination of findings. You will contribute to authoring manuscripts that we intend to submit for peer review. You will be encouraged to attend seminars in the research group and to use this opportunity to advance your career in clinical research.
You should have a degree in Orthpotics, minimum 2 (1). The post is available until 30 April 2017.
