The Wellcome Trust/Cancer Research UK Gurdon Institute seeks a postdoctoral Research Associate to work in the laboratory of Professor Andrea Brand on Drosophila developmental neurobiology. The person appointed will have a degree in Molecular Biology and a PhD in Developmental Biology. S/he will have demonstrable experience in the field of nervous system development, ideally on the temporal control of neurogenesis, and experience in the analysis of neuroblast lineages, Drosophila brain dissection, immunohistochemistry, confocal microscopy and image processing.
Limited funding: The funds for this post are available until 30 September 2015 in the first instance.
Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
