The Oxford University Centre for Business Taxation is a leading independent, interdisciplinary research centre that undertakes a broad research programme related to business taxation. For further information, please visit www.sbs.oxford.edu/tax.
The Centre is seeking an outstanding researcher in economics, law, taxation and related fields, such as corporate finance, investment, location, fiscal policy and governance. The Research Fellow will be expected to undertake independent and joint research in a relevant aspect of business taxation, under the guidance of the Director, Research Director or other senior research staff. Research output should primarily be aimed at leading peer-reviewed academic journals; however, all researchers in the Centre should also be prepared to contribute to policy-related output. The fellow will be expected to lead significant project areas and to be an experienced team member, to work in the Centre, and to contribute fully to the life and activities of the centre by providing supportive guidance. S/he will also undertake teaching where this is available.
You will probably have or be working towards a PhD but highly experienced or differently qualified individuals in a relevant area will also be considered. You will have the ability and willingness to generate additional research grant income and the experience of producing independent research of international quality in a discipline relevant to the Centre.
This post is fixed-term for 3 years.
