This short term project (six months) is an exciting opportunity for somebody with a graduate level of social education and/or research experience who is interested in social care and welfare reform to explore new opportunities in this field for Herefordshire Lifestyles. This charity has a tradition of working with older people, people with disabilities and vulnerable adults, providing services and support to enable them to live independently.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You will have the ability to research and carry out report writing. Although supervision will be provided we are looking for someone who is able to think outside the box and is able to work independently with appropriate planning and priorities.
The person will be expected to work flexibly and devote an average of 2/3 days per week.
Salary negotiable but equivalent to full time of £20,000 - £30,000 per annum
Date of appointment – available from February 1st 2014.
