Age limit: Candidates age should not be more than 40 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess any of the Medical qualifications included in the First or Second Schedule or Part – II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and registration as Medical Practitioner in West Bengal MD/DMRD/ DA/ DCH/ MS/ M.Ch/ DLO in relevant disciplines.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on a Screening Test/Written Test and interview.
Application Fee: Candidates has to pay the application fee of Rs.210/- (Rupees two hundred and ten) only by Postal Order and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata. Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash etc. will not be accepted. No application fee for Candidates belonging to S.C./S.T. ofWest Bengal and Persons with Disabilities specified under Persons with Disabilities.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in prescribed format along with attested copies of all certificates two self-addressed unstamped envelopes and one self-addressed post card and application fee receipt, to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, 161-A, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700 026 by speed post or registered post or may also be submitted personally between 11:00 A M and 03:30 P. M on all working days on or before 07-01-2014.
Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 07-01-2014.
