1. Light Classical Vocal Music (Male): 01 Post
2. Indian Classical Instrumental Music (Tabla): 01 Post
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 to 30 years for UR candidates, 18 to 33 years for OBC candidates, 18 to 35 years for SC/ ST candidates as on 01-01-2014.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must Pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board. (50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories. 50% marks are not required for SC/ ST candidates, and for candidates having higher qualification.)
Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on Written Test, Assessment of talent in the relevant cultural discipline on the basis of f Practical Demonstration & Testimonials/ Prizes etc.
Examination Fee: Candidates has to pay Rs.40/- (non-refundable) drawn in favor of FA&CAO, East Coast Railway, payable at Bhubaneswar, UR and OBC candidates should submit an Indian Postal Order (IPO), (issued after the date of this notification). How to Apply: Interested Candidates can send their application (Application Form should be made on a good quality white A-4 (210×297 mm) size paper using ONE SIDE ONLY), along with cate proof & all necessary documents to Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Rail Sadan,Chandrasekharpur, PO-Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha – 751017 by Post/ Drop Box on or before 30-12-2013 up to 05:00 pm. 14-01-2014 up to 05:00 pm for residents of Andaman, Nicobar & Lakshadweep.

Age Limit: Candidates age must be minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years of age as on 01-01-2014.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a University Degree or its equivalent for (Rs.2800/- Posts), Matriculation or its equivalent with 80 words per minute in Shorthand (English) for a duration of 10 min which will be transcribed in typing in 65 minutes for(Rs.2400 Posts), Pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board for (Rs.1900-2000 Posts), Pass in 10th standard or ITI or equivalent from a recognized board for (Rs.1800/- Posts).
Selection Process: Selection will be based upon performance in sports, trails & interview/ certificate verification to be conducted and finalized by a nomination selection committee.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay application fee through bank DD for( Rs.2400/- and Rs.2800/- posts) is Rs.60/- & (Rs.1800/-, Rs.1900/- , Rs.2000/- posts) is Rs.40/-.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates should send their applications should be made on good quality white paper A-4 (210 X 297 mm) size paper using one side only, one recent passport size photograph (4cm X 5cm) should be affixed in the application, one loose extra photograph with name, DOB & signature of the candidate is written on the back side & should be attached with the application form, signature of the applicant must be full and in running hand not in block letters should be written in Hindi/ English, applicant should write on the top of envelope containing the application as ” Application against Sports Quota (Open Advt) recruitment for the year 2013-2014?, should sent on or before 27-01-2014.
