Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 21 to 40 years for Home & Excise Department as on 01-01-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable as per rules. Refer the notification for complete details.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess any Degree or equivalent from Incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on Written Test & Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates residing in MP/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates of Madhya Pradesh has to pay the application and examination fee of Rs.90/- and out of Madhya Pradesh candidates has to pay the Rs.180/- along with portal charges of Rs.40/- for all candidates through Debit/ Credit card (Master or VISA) of State Bank of India (SBI) & Union Bank.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online from the website www.mponline.gov.in, www.mppsc.com & www.mppsc.nic.in from 05-01-2014 from 12:00 PM to 04-02-2014 (Midnight 12:00).

Instruction for Online Application:
1. First candidates have to scan their photo and signature.
2. Log on to www.mponline.gov.in, www.mppsc.com & www.mppsc.nic.in from 05-01-2014 from 12:00 PM to 04-02-2014 (Midnight 12:00).
3. After filling the application form candidates have to make the payment through Credit, Debit Card/ through Net Banking of SBI/ Union Bank.
4. Check all fields and click on Submit button.
5. Then there will be a pop up window comes with the message regarding the submission of online application.
6. For making necessary corrections in the online application candidates have to make payment of Rs.50/- for Reserved & Rs.90/- for Unreserved & can change the details from 15-01-2014 to 06-02-2014.

Starting Date for Online Application: 05-01-2014 from 12:00 PM on wards
Closing Date for Online Application: 04-02-2014 till Midnight 12:00.
Starting Date for Rectifying Mistakes: 15-01-2014.
Last Date for Rectifying Mistakes: 06-02-2014.
Starting Date for down loading Hall Tickets: 21-03-2014.
Last Date for down loading Hall Tickets: 11-04-2014.
Date of Written Test: 13-04-2014.
For Paper I: at 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
For Paper II: at 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM.
