Name of the Post:
1. Professor: 02 posts
2. Associate Professor: 03 posts
3. Assistant Professor: 08 posts
Age Limit: Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age as on the date of interview. The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Women and physically challenged.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Master’s Degree in Arts / Humanities / Sciences / Commerce and M. Ed. with a minimum of 55% marks & Ph.D in Education for S.No.1 & 2 posts, Master’s Degree in the following subject with 55% marks, M.Ed Degree with qualify in NET/ SET/ SLET for S.No.3 post.
Application Fee: Candidates has to pay Rs.500/- (non-refundable) for Others & Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates ) in the form of Demand Draft only drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of The Registrar, Tezpur University, payable at Tezpur.
Selection Process: Short-listed candidates selection will be based on their performance in interview.
How to Apply: Interested candidates can send their application in prescribed format available in the notification & all necessary documents, The envelope containing the application should be superscribed as-“Application for the post of ……… (name of the post) under the School / Department of Education” super-scribed on the envelope to Tezpur University, Tezpur – 784 028 (Assam) on or before 17-01-2014.
