UPSC Advt No 51/2014 – Apply Online for Engineer & Ship Surveyor cum Dy Director General Posts: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued notification for recruitment of the Engineer & Ship Surveyor cum Deputy Director General vacancies. UPSC Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 04
Name of the Post: Engineer & Ship Surveyor cum Deputy Director General (Technical)


Age Limit: Candidates age limit should not exceed 50 years as on closing date. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Certificate of competency of Marine Engineer Officer Class -I (Stean and Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in section 78 of the Merchant Shipping Act-1958 (44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the said act.


Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in interview.


How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the website www.upsconline.nic.in on or before 11-03-2014 till 23:59 hrs. After submission of online application, take print out of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application and keep it for future references.


Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Log on to website www.upsconline.nic.in
2. Select the ‘Online Recruitment Application’ for (ORA)Various Recruitment Posts’ link
3. Select the appropriate post and click on ‘Apply Online’.
4. Fill all the mandatory field and submit error free application form.
5. After submission of ORA, candidates are required to take print out of it for future use.

Closing Date for Submission of Online Application: 11-03-2014 upto 23:59 hrs
Last Date for Printing of Completely Submitted Online Application:12-03-2014 upto 23:59 hrs.
