UPSC CMS Exam Syllabus

UPSC CMS Exam Syllabus: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS) in two phases viz. Written examination and interview/ personality test. Syllabus for appearing the written examination are given below….

UPSC CMS Exam Syllabus details: The examination will be conducted in two plans
i. Part I: Written Examination
ii. Part II: Personality Test

PART I -Written Examination: In this written examination consists of 2 papers for 500 marks .each paper carrying a maximum of 250 marks. Each paper will be of two hours duration.

The Interview for personality test will be intended to serve as a supplement to the written examination for testing the General Knowledge and ability of the candidates in the fields of their academic study and also in the nature of personality test to assess the candidate’s Intellectual curiosity, critical powers of assimilation, balance of judgement and alertness of mind, ability for social cohension, integrity of character, initiative and capability for leadership.
