Age Limit: Candidates age should not exceeding 32 years as on 19-03-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ MBC/ EXS/ Widows/ Divorced Women candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Degree in Law from a recognized University, Master’s Degree in Commerce (or) Economics or qualified Chartered Accountant.
Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on Open Written Competitive Examination.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply Online from the website https://recruitment.puducherry.gov.in from 17-02-2014 at 10:00 AM to19-03-2014 at 05:45 PM and submit the online generated application duly signed along with attested copy of certificates of educational qualification, nativity/ residence/ community by superscribing the envelope as “APPLICATION FOR OPEN WRITTEN COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION FOR DIRECT RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF ACTO” and send to The Deputy Commissioner (CT), Commercial Taxes Department, 1st Floor, Commercial Taxes Complex, 100 Feet Road, Ellapillaichavady, Pondicherry – 605005 on or before 26-03-2014 by 5:45 PM.
Online Instructions:
1. Logon to https://recruitment.puducherry.gov.in.
2. Click on Apply Online.
3. Candidates have to upload photo (maximum file size: 150 kb and dimension (width x height): not less than 220 x 270 pixels) and signature (150 kb and dimension (width x height): not less than 325 x 125 pixels).
4. Fill all the fields and then click on Submit button.
5. Take print out of application and send to the above address.

Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 19-03-2014 at 05:45 PM
Last Date for Submitting Hard copy of Application: 26-03-2014 by 5:45 PM.
